Senior QA Automation Engineer
What you will be doing
We are hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own end-to-end test automation for our cloud platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API and integration) for web applications.
- Develop and scale test frameworks using Playwright, Cypress and Selenium WebDriver.
- Build CI/CD test pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and integrate automated checks into the release process.
- Write reliable, maintainable test code in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
- Drive API testing (REST, GraphQL) with automated contract tests.
- Champion quality practices, test strategy, coverage metrics and defect triage across squads.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in QA automation / SDET roles.
- Strong hands-on with Playwright or Cypress, and Selenium WebDriver.
- Solid JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
- Experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs.
- CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS and observability tooling.
- Excellent English communication. Costa Rica based or remote-friendly within the Americas.
